Happiness Project
So rule’s (not in order):
1. Go out of your way at least three times a day to hold the door for someone and smile
2. Wake up and write a list of five things you want to accomplish (even if they’re small)
3. Make a conscious effort to try and enjoy where you’re at and the people you’re with, even if it’s school
4. Ask someone how their day is, and be fully involved. Ask questions. Take a genuine interest in someone else’s life other than your own
5. Get your work done. It may not be fun at the moment, but man it feels good to feel accomplished. Whatever mental block you have, move past it. You got this.
6. Take time to treat yourself nicely (that might sound a bit weird) but if you like tea, go make yourself a glass and take a break from life for a moment. Relax with your tea while wrapped in a fuzzy blanket reading your favorite book.. I DUNNO whatever tickles your fancy.
7. Make an effort, right now, just today: to not linger on the past. To not think of anything that you miss, “what used to be..” blah blah. You got right now to make new memories, today is the day guys.
